Drought Relief Teledermatology Offer

This was a September 2019 initiative and the offer has ended. It is kept here as a record of the service's history.
Our practice recognised the hardship that drought conditions were placing on rural patients and their communities.
For the month of September 2019, our Dermatologists offered bulk billing for teledermatology consultations, for referrals received within the month where the patient attended the consultation at their referring clinic.
The initiative gave drought-affected patients access to specialist skin consultations without the standard out-of-pocket cost, in their own community, alongside their own GP or practice nurse.
