Book your consultation

Booking takes a few minutes. Choose the appointment type that fits, pick a time, and prepay to confirm. If you're not sure which to choose, call us. The coordinator team books people in every day.

Before you book

Before your consultation: four photos

Every consultation needs four clear photos of your skin condition, emailed to us at least one hour before your appointment. Your consultation can't go ahead without them.

  • Photo 1: about 1 metre away
  • Photo 2: about 20cm away
  • Photo 3: about 5cm away
  • Photo 4: as close as your camera allows

Email them to coordinator@teledermatologist.com.au with your full name in the subject line.

A nurse, carer or family member can help you take them, or call us and we'll arrange assistance.

Referrals and rebates

You don't need a referral to book. With a valid GP referral you'll receive a Medicare rebate. Without one, the full fee applies. See pricing.

If plans change

Plans change, and we understand. Give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Inside 24 hours, a $150 fee applies.

Bookings for children 12 and under need a GP referral and are assessed individually to make sure telehealth is right for them. Please submit the referral or call 02 4960 8277.

What happens after you book

    Your confirmation email arrives straight away, with a link to your consent form. Please complete it as soon as you can.

  2. 2

    Email your four photos to us at least one hour before your appointment.

  3. 3

    We'll send reminders as your appointment approaches, and only call if something on your file needs finishing.

  4. 4

    At your appointment time, join by the link we send you. Your coordinator greets you first, checks your details, then introduces your Dermatologist.
