Online Dermatology Services for Pensioners
Teledermatologist provides rapid access to a FACD Specialist Dermatologist with a discount for pensioners.
Many of our patients are pensioners located throughout regional Australia & in aged care facilities across all parts of Australia.
Patients on a pension, who are in need of specialist dermatologist services, don't have the finances, ability and/or desire to travel long distances for their consultation are offered Teledermatology services at discounted pensioner rates. As this helps ensure that our service is accessible to those who need it most.
We do also recommend that patients using a pensioner card elect to use the ‘Option 1 - In Clinic or Aged Care Facility with a GP or Nurse present’ service
Medicare Rebate Eligibility
The following table helps indicate who’s eligible for a medicare rebate. Please understand that in order to differentiate between regional and metropolitan areas, you will need to utilise the Australia Government’s Department of Health health services map.
