For Fellows of the Australasian College of Dermatologists
Join the Teledermatologist team
Consult by secure video, in the sessions that suit you, with a coordinator team handling everything around the appointment. We've been running teledermatology across Australia since 2017, and we're always glad to hear from Dermatologists interested in joining the panel.

Why consult with us
Sessions that fit your week
Consult in the sessions that suit you, alongside existing public or private commitments. Many of our Dermatologists consult with us for a defined block each week rather than full days.
Consult from anywhere
From home, from your own rooms, or wherever you happen to be practising. All you need is a secure connection and a quiet space.
The file is ready before you join
Every patient arrives with their referral, history, completed consent and four standardised photographs already on file and reviewed. You consult; you don't chase paperwork.
A coordinator on every consultation
A coordinator verifies the patient's identity and file, joins the call first, introduces you, and handles the follow-up afterwards, including scripts, correspondence and rebooking.
No practice overheads
No rooms, no reception, no billing to manage. Bookings, prepayment and Medicare processing are all handled before you ever see the patient.
Patients who struggle to reach a Dermatologist
A large share of our patients are in regional and remote Australia, or in aged care consulting with a nurse beside them. For many, telehealth is the difference between specialist care and none.
What a consultation looks like
Patients book and prepay in advance, complete their registration and consent, and email four standardised photographs at set distances at least an hour before the appointment. Nothing proceeds without them.
At the appointment, a coordinator joins first, confirms identity and the correct file, then introduces you. After the consultation, the coordinator manages the script, the correspondence back to the referring GP, and any follow-up booking.
Around nine in ten of our patients come through a GP referral, triaged beforehand so that presentations unsuited to telehealth don't reach your list.
